Assembled Thermal Resistance RTD Temperature Sensor

Product Overview

The Assembled Thermal Resistance (RTD) is a robust industrial temperature sensor designed for direct measurement of liquid, steam, gas, and solid surface temperatures ranging from -200°C to 500°C. It operates on the principle that the electrical resistance of metals changes predictably with temperature — when the temperature of the sensing element changes, its resistance changes proportionally, allowing the connected instrument to display the corresponding temperature value.

Built with imported platinum thin-film Pt100 sensing elements and spring-loaded internal construction, these assembled RTDs provide exceptional anti-vibration performance and long-term measurement stability. The spring-loaded design maintains consistent contact pressure between the sensing element and the protective tube, ensuring accurate readings even under mechanical shock and vibration conditions commonly found in industrial process environments.

Manufactured in compliance with IEC 60751, GB/T 30121-2013, and JB/T 8623-1997 standards, these RTDs are available in five mounting configurations: no-fixed device, fixed screw thread, active-flange, fixed-flange, and taper thread cone type. Platinum (Pt100) and copper (Cu50/Cu100) sensing elements are available, with accuracy classes from AA to C. The 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel protective tube provides excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

Key Features

Spring-Loaded Anti-Vibration Design

Temperature-sensing element is spring-loaded inside the protective tube, maintaining consistent contact pressure and providing excellent vibration resistance for harsh industrial environments.

No Compensation Wire Required

Unlike thermocouples, RTD sensors do not require expensive compensation wires. This significantly reduces installation costs while maintaining measurement integrity across long cable runs.

High Accuracy Pt100 Element

Imported platinum thin-film Pt100 sensing elements deliver Class A accuracy of ±(0.15 + 0.002|t|)°C with excellent long-term stability. Available up to Class AA for precision applications.

High Mechanical Strength

1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel protective tube withstands pressures up to 15 MPa (taper thread type) with excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for aggressive process media.

5 Mounting Configurations

Choose from no-fixed device, fixed screw thread (M27×2, G3/4), active-flange, fixed-flange (Φ95), and taper thread (M33×2, NPT1) to match your exact installation requirements.

Fast Response Option (<24s)

G-type models with variable cross-section design achieve response times under 24 seconds — nearly 4× faster than standard models — enabling tighter process control loops.
